Philip Ambrose Depiazzi (Treasurer)
Credentials
- Former National Chairman of the RSM Bird Cameron (Retired) –as a Chartered Accountant and a registered CPA and business leader, he has great understanding of accounting issues and general business matters, to give guidance to the next chapters of the life of the Foundation
- Leader in the Community, Past President of Lions and Past District Governor and, ultimately, national chairman.
- Inaugural Chairman (six years) of Australian Lions Foundation which handles emergency funds of times of National Crisis and ongoing projects for Lions in Australia.
- Member, Board Fairbridge Western Australia (another major orginsation in this state) and currently Chair (2009/2010).
Contributions
- Understanding of financial and taxation and other matters structural issues
- Judgment to contribute to and to enrich decisions as an experienced business and community leader.
Lote Mulate
Credentials
- Broad background culturally and educationally growing up in Mozambique, completing his education in Kenya (Bachelors Degree at African Nazarene University and Masters at the United States International University (Nairobi).
- Broad leadership in industry experience including currently serving as Occupational Health and Safety Superintendent-BMA Coal Pty Ltd- Dysart. BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) is the world’s largest seaborne cocking coal supplier. BMA operates nine mine sites and a coal loading port in central Queensland.The role is responsible for Accommodation, non-process infrastructure & Airports in the towns of Moranbah, Dysart, Blackwater & Emerald.

Simon Matters
Credentials:
- Barrister and Officer of the Supreme Court of Victoria with Chambers at 205 William Street, Melbourne 3300.
- Experienced in advising non-profit charities in legal matters and interpreting the law on issues that may face them.
- Chair of the Board of Nazarene Theological College and member of the District Advisory Board, Church of the Nazarene.
Contribution
- Understanding of legal issues.
- Has shown interest in the cause of the Foundation since first learning of its activities.
- General sound wisdom and advice.
Robert L Woodruff
Credentials
- Education and preparation in social program development and evaluation: Forma qualifications include: PhD – Griffiths University – Program Development and Evaluation, Doctor of Ministry (Western Evangelical Seminary USA) Leadership Development Master of Divinity (Western Evangelical Seminary USA) Cross Cultural Studies Bachelor of Science (George Fox University) Senior Mathematics Education with Physics.
- Chancellor, Africa Nazarene University
- Denominational World Mission Higher Education Coordinator supervising 55 universities and tertiary level colleges.
- Manages grants for educational institutions totaling 3.5 million USD.
- Founding Vice-Chancellor of Africa Nazarene University, a Kenyan university of 2,000 students serving 23 nations of Africa.

Ken Posney
Credentials
- Strong leadership in community and council matters including 30 years as Director of the Department of Community Development for the City of Fremantle
- Currently on various boards including
- The Migrant Resource Centre since its inception in 1979 and has served in various capacities including chair and secretary.

- Committee of PCYC Hilton Branch
- Member of HomesWest Review Tribunal
Contribution
- Mr Posney serves as community liaison communicating to the wider local community and providing the board with insight as we partner with other local community leaders.

Peter Bowler
Credentials
- Currently Chief Executive Officer for the Forgarty Foundaiton.
- Recently Currently Leadership Western Australia’s manager of Skillsbank and Community Development and acting CEO.
- Served in Melbourne in an executive position with Monash University in the office of Vice-President Advancement. He was active in major capital grant projects raising significant funds for the Universities projects and buildings.
- Background in Leadership and Management, marketing, project directorship and budgeting
- Past Director of Wesfarmers and State Manager of Wesfarmers Dalgety Real Estate
- Extensive experience as a businessman and volunteer
- Former Educator with the BA degree and Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
- Served voluntarily at Not-for-Profit organizations in rural and urban WA and has served through the Freemasons for 25 years.
Contribution
- Networking with volunteer agencies, with leaders who can donate time and talent to assist in the growth of the foundation.
- Follow through with potential donors and the development of growing relationships with the wider West Australian and
- Advice and participation in fund-raising and marketing.
Peter has recently returned from Melbourne, Victoria where he held an executive position with Monash University in the office of Vice-President Advancement.
In his capacity as Leadership Western Australia’s Manager, Skillsbank and Community Relations Peter brings to our State and organisation a depth of experience in Leadership and Management, Marketing, project Directorship and budgeting, mentoring and relationship excellence and Alumni relations.
Previously Peter has been a past Director of Wesfarmers and State Manager of Wesfarmers Dalgety Real Estate and past State Manager of Century 21 in Western Australia. He is a senior facilitator and trainer, holding a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and he holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education.
Peter also ran his own Real Estate business and contributed as a volunteer with the Real Estate Institute of WA. He has served voluntarily at Not-for-Profit organisations in various capacities in rural and urban WA and has been a Freemason for 25 years.
Peter’s wife Jeannie and their four children have lived in Western Australia for the majority of their lives.
In addition to the governing board, we also have the guidance of expertise of members of a body we call the Council of Advisors.
COUNCIL OF ADVISORS:
In order to broaden the scope of expertise, the Foundation will also be informed by a council of advisors in their respective areas of expertise and networking. Currently this Council has two members, but it is anticipated that this Council will grow to approximately twelve members.
Currently David Templeman, MLA and Minister with several portfolios in Western Australia and Keith Turner, West Australian Entrepreneur and Philanthropist are considered advisors to Foundation as is Revd Don Messer, missionary and expert in refugee relief in Africa and Dr Richard Zanner, one of our original founding board members until his retirement from the Board

Credentials
- Currently Chief Executive Office of EduCare, a multi-million dollar foundation for building infrastructure for primary schools throughout Africa. The funds are distributed by obligation contracts made between the parents and the Foundation.
- African Regional Director Emeritus for the Church of the Nazarene International
Contribution
- Dr Zanner, a German living in South Africa, is proficient in raising funds for foundations and gives guidance on policies and contacts needed.
- His role, which is very active, is in guiding in donors who come from the European community.
